The Doors – Hello, I Love You

While lying on my bed of pain I was plugged permanently into Spotify. And while there, I took the opportunity to revisit The Doors – something I’ve done every five years or so since I was a teenager. The point of this exercise is to convince myself that they were ever any good.

I’m happy to report once again that I’ve always been right about them: they’re mostly a load of dreary old shit.

Except, that is, for Hello, I Love You which is just a great little pop song. Like a tarted up version of The Seeds.

The best thing about it, by the way, is those fantastic tumbling drums.

Completely agree mate, they are a load of old tosh. And, this was nicked from The Kinks’ All Day and All of the Night

  2. V.E.G. says:

Jim Morrison was the distant cousin of TV repairman from Colorado, Theodore Martin Floyd!
