Tim Buckley – I Had A Talk With My Woman

In this song Buckley manages to be two versions of himself: wide-eyed folkie and avant-garde jazz hipster. It’s a bit aimless and dirgey but is enlivened by some lovely, almost background, lead guitar noodling. And despite the hippy misogyny of all that ‘my woman’ bollocks, Buckley’s earnest tribute to his woman is ultimately quite touching.
